IT Operations Manager

Job Title: IT Operations Manager (Contract, Technology Operations)

Location: London, (E1 area) - hybrid, in-office presence required (3 days per week).

About the Role:

Join a well-established charity focused on supporting vulnerable groups as an IT Operations Manager. This role leads the Infrastructure function during a period of transition, focusing on operational security, resilience, and supplier performance while embedding ITSM practices. You'll support major Microsoft-based platform rollouts, including Dynamics 365 CRM and a Microsoft Fabric data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Infrastructure function and manage third-party suppliers.
• Drive security certification roadmaps (e.g., Cyber Essentials Plus).
• Improve ITSM maturity and service accountability.
• Ensure stability of cloud and on-prem infrastructure within a Microsoft ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Proven technical leadership in infrastructure and L3 support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Experience with ITIL 4 / ITSM best practices.
• Background in supplier management and security certifications.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure Administrator).
• Significant experience in infrastructure operations and service transformation.
