In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next seven years to 77.65tCO2e by 2030, a reduction of 50%. Morgan Hunt is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
We will work with office providers, landlords and waste contractors to improve the quality of waste data available to Morgan Hunt and identify opportunities to increase recycling and reduce waste generated through our operations.
Digital recruitment and service delivery
Our recruitment processes increasingly make use of digital communications, documentation, meetings, interviews and candidate engagement. Where appropriate to client requirements, these approaches can reduce paper consumption and travel associated with delivering recruitment services.
Supply chain and procurement
Where relevant and proportionate, Morgan Hunt will consider environmental performance within purchasing and supplier decisions and engage suppliers on opportunities to reduce emissions associated with the goods and services used in delivering our operations.
Contract delivery
Where relevant to a particular contract, Morgan Hunt will work collaboratively with the contracting authority to identify and implement proportionate environmental management measures during contract delivery.
These may include remote or hybrid meetings and interviews, digital documentation and reporting, minimising unnecessary business travel, encouraging lower-carbon travel, reducing waste and paper consumption, and monitoring relevant carbon reduction measures and performance.
Morgan Hunt will continue to review these measures and identify further opportunities to reduce emissions as part of its pathway to Net Zero.
