Pre Screening FAQs
A key part of the recruitment process is to ensure that our candidates and clients are suitable for one another. Therefore, before we can present candidates to our clients, we have to carry out a thorough pre-screening of both parties. In the case of you, our candidate, we must:
- Ensure you have the right to work in the UK
- Confirm your identity
- Conduct a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, where appropriate (formerly known as a criminal record check)
- Take up references
- Check your employment history and any gaps in employment
- Check any qualifications you are required to have and ask a number of questions in relation to your skill and experience, to ensure your suitbality for the role
These pre-engagement screening checks will differ depending on which sector you will be working in and your Morgan Hunt Consultant will be able to provide more detail on this. We would strongly recommend you start preparing the documentation you will need as soon as possible, so that we can get the checks completed and get you in front of potential employers or hirers as quickly as possible.
