This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and support learners in achieving their academic and career goals.

💷 Salary: Up to £40 per hour

⏰ Hours: Full-time & Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Health & Social Care lessons to FE learners.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements.
• Teach across relevant Health & Social Care programmes and qualification levels.
• Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement.
• Provide appropriate academic and pastoral support to learners.
• Maintain accurate learner and assessment records.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive learner outcomes.
• Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and college policies are followed.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience teaching Health & Social Care within Further Education or a similar educational setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across Health & Social Care.
• Experience delivering vocational qualifications such as BTEC, NCFE, CACHE or T Level programmes would be desirable.
• A relevant Health & Social Care qualification.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, DTLLS or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback.
• A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their potential.
• Relevant industry experience within Health & Social Care would be advantageous.
