Pay: Up to £36 per hour
Hours: Full-time, five days per week

Start date: Immediate

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for learners with high needs and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
• Adapt activities, resources and communication approaches to each learner's needs, including sensory approaches where appropriate.
• Support learners to develop communication, independence, confidence and life skills.
• Work with support staff, therapists, families and other professionals to help learners achieve their EHCP outcomes.
• Assess and record progress, contribute to reviews, and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching learners with SEND, ideally in a further education setting.
• A teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one.
• An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service.
