About the Role:

Morgan Hunt are seeking a fully time-served Maintenance Joiner to work within the public sector. This is initially a temporary position, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract. The role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of public facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.


Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine joinery maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, skirtings, flooring and other joinery components.
• Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Experience Requirements:

• Fully time-served joiner with proven experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in joinery or carpentry are essential.

Work Arrangements:

• Temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
