We are seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our dynamic Mechanical and Electrical Services team. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of aspiring electricians, providing high-quality teaching and support to learners as they navigate their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching, learning, and assessment in Electrical Installation.
• Design assessments and create innovative learning materials that enhance student engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate learner progress to ensure high standards in line with awarding body requirements.
• Provide academic and pastoral support through Individual Learning Plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote Electrical Installation courses through various outreach initiatives.
• Engage with employers to facilitate high-quality work experience and industry insights.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent), including NVQ and AM2.
• Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one
• Assessor Award (TAQA) or willingness to achieve in post.
• Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Level 4 Award or willingness to achieve in post.

Education Requirements:

• Education to level 3 or above in a relevant subject area.
• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

• Substantial industry experience in Electrical Installation.
• Experience in teaching or training is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
