A well-regarded Further Education College in London is seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to join its growing Construction department. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced lecturer or a qualified plumbing professional looking to bring their industry expertise into the classroom.

You'll play a key role in preparing learners for successful careers in the Building Services sector, delivering a blend of practical workshop sessions and classroom-based teaching across Plumbing programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and training across Plumbing courses
Support learners to develop industry-standard practical skills and technical knowledge
Create engaging lesson plans and learning resources
Assess learner work and monitor progress against targets
Maintain workshop standards and promote safe working practices
Contribute to learner recruitment, retention, and achievement

Essential Criteria:

Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent
Recent and relevant industry experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in helping learners achieve their potential

Desirable Criteria:

Teaching qualification
Previous experience delivering training, apprenticeships, or classroom-based learning
Assessor qualifications
