Contract Type: Long-Term Temporary
Working Pattern: Part-Time (2-3 days per week)
Rate: £40 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Lecturer to join a North London college on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to support and inspire learners studying Early Years programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Early Years courses
Plan engaging lessons in line with the curriculum and awarding body requirements
Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on learner work
Support learners' academic and professional development
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment
Contribute to course development and quality assurance processes
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Early Years / Childcare (minimum Level 3; Degree preferred)
Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
Previous experience teaching Early Years in a FE or similar setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Up-to-date knowledge of Early Years frameworks and practice
