Job description
- Teaching BTEC Computing and digital skills
- A degree in Computing, would be suitable to teach the role- perfect part time opportunity
- Working for an FE College in Greater Manchester
Responsibilities of Computing Lecturer:
- Working in the Computing Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
- Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
- Delivery of BTEC
Core Purpose:
- To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation,
- recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal
- growth
Requirements of a Computing Lecturer:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
- Experience of delivering the subject.
- A computing related Degree is essential
- A current DBS on the update service
