Are you passionate about supporting adult learners in their English language journey? We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our outstanding college team as an ESOL Support professional.

Job Description

As an ESOL Support professional, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality language support to adult learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Your goal will be to empower students by enhancing their English language skills, fostering confidence, and supporting them in achieving their educational and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Provide tailored ESOL instruction aligned with learners' needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Student Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify students' language levels and learning requirements.
  • Learning Plans: Develop and implement individual learning plans to support learners in reaching their goals.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Foster an understanding of cultural diversity, supporting integration and mutual respect among learners.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain an organized and welcoming learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to coordinate teaching strategies and learner support.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on students' progress, addressing any challenges they may encounter.
  • Support Services: Provide guidance on additional resources or opportunities to help learners outside the classroom.

  • CELTA Qualification: A must-have for this role.
