About the Role:
A college in North London is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Lecturer to join the team on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to learners with diverse SEN profiles.

• Support students with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and moderate learning difficulties.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.

• Work closely with Learning Support Assistants, parents, and the wider support team to ensure student needs are met.

• Contribute to the development of inclusive teaching resources and strategies.

Requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).

• Experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs, ideally in an FE or post-16 environment.

• Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and inclusive practices.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
