Interim Director of People and Culture

I am pleased to be working with a Public Sector client, based in the East Midlands, to recruit an Interim Director of People and Culture for an initial 6-month contract.



The organisation truly values their staff which presents a 'family feel' throughout and due to the growth over the last 2 years they are now looking to an appoint an interim into a newly created role. It could also be a temporary to permanent position for the right person!



As the Interim Director of People and Culture, you will be responsible for a large strategic HR team transformation project of the service that they provide. You will have the opportunity to restructure the department as you see fit to ensure they are providing a harmonious HR service to the wider organisation. This will include; training, mentoring, and managing a team of 15 HR professionals.




You will also oversee the transfer and transitioning period of staff from the organisations managed service provider, oversee the handling of complex ER cases and carrying out a complete overhaul of the current policies, processes and procedures that are in place.




In applying for this Interim Director of People and Culture vacancy, you will have a drive for delivering results, be CIPD qualified or have significant industry experience, and you will have worked within the Public Sector. Experience in leadership roles is essential, with experience of; envisioning and executing short and long-term strategies, managing change in a complex organisation and passionate about employee development and well-being.

This role is inside of IR35, and will be paid on a daily rate. Our client is open to discussions of a daily rate of up to £825 per day PAYE.
