Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and evolving Top 50 Accountancy Firm in the City of London to recruit for an Audit Senior. You will be joining an expanding audit team where you be challenged, supported and able to develop your skill set. Our client pride themselves in going above and beyond providing exceptional service to their varied client portfolios.
Duties and responsibilities
As an Audit Senior you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Working closely with the audit managers and partners.
- Maintaining general contact with clients and building close relationships acting as one of the main points of contact.
- Taking the lead on planning, working papers, fieldwork and completion work to bring the audit file to a stage ready for manager review.
- Co-ordinating the scheduling of the audit work with client activities and requirements.
- Establishing the objectives of the engagement including the issue of engagement letters, relay of timetables issuance of audit deliverable etc.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an Audit Senior you will:
- Be ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Have around one year minimum post qualification experience.
- Have experience working in a mid-tier accountancy firm.
- Have excellent communication skills.

For the Audit Senior position there are range of benefits on offer including hybrid working (two days at home) and a 35 hour working week. Between the months of June and September you are able to finish at 1pm on Friday (Summer Fridays). Career progressions is a vital part of the firm (the CEO started as an Associate!).
